New Rail Link Coming

Great news,

 

If you read the THE Record this morning you read that the Tappan Zee Study Team has opted to build a new bridge, instead of repairing the old one.

 

What you do not know is that the team has confirmed the new bridge will have a rail link as part of the construction.

 

Just confirmed to me by my contact with the study team is that the rail link will offer a direct line from Port Jervis to Grand Central Station and back.

 

Though the line will be a few years in construction. If this does not change. Port Jervis, Milford and the entire Tri State area will experience a huge boom in population, business and tourism.
